What is SEO?

Short for "Search Engine Optimization", the process of increasing the amount of visitors to a Web site by ranking high in the search results of a search engine (e.g. Google / Yahoo / MSN). The higher a Web site ranks in the results of a search, the greater the chance that that site will be visited by a user. - Souce: Webopedia.Com

How can SEO help export business?

SEO helps to ensure that a site is accessible to a search engine and improves the chances that the site will be found by the search engine (people put keywords on what they are finding e.g. Blanched Peanut Kernel).

The higher a Web site ranks in the results of a search, the greater the chance that that site will be visited by a user (your importers / prospective customers). The greater numbers of visitor, the greater number of sales.

Therefore, instead of you trying to find international importers online, let them find you! Professional Plan upgrades your online marketing techniques. SEO can ensure the increasing of your export-focused site traffic!

You have no technical background, can you operate this?

Yes, you can! You just simply specify 5 prefered keywords to be for importers to search for what you sell and 10 more for spares. Rather than that, let us take care the rest.

I hope my introduction to SEO would make you get some idea and how to increase your export-focused site traffic or interest in Professional Plan. Some of our customers are more than happy because all our added values along with SEO service are more than enough for them whereas the cost is less. Check out the cost here. You can be sure it's worth it.

Before I leave this blog, let me bring out what customer said about how satisfied he feel about Professional Plan -

"… Well, what’s even better is after I found ExportMate, they introduced me to EPhit (Professional Plan). With EPhit, customers search for what I sell, because my website always gets top ranking in Google when looking for my products. I get more popular and get more traffic, so as a result, I get more orders! Plus, I only pay when my website gets hits – it’s really worth it! My team really enjoys EPhit…"

Is ExportMate like Alibaba?

Someone is curious whether ExportMate is like Alibaba.Com. Alibaba.Com is an E-Marketplace whereas ExportMate.Com is not. Both could help exporters to penetrate their company and products to global market, to be found by their targets and to communicate with them online but both got different model.

“… ExportMate facilitates its members to have their own online marketing channel with its value added which is hard to find from where else. ExportMate offer value added to both free service (Basic Plan) and paid service (Professional Plan) …” said, Pichayanee, Sales & Marketing Manager

“… Imagine, how much you have to pay for all together - domain name (www.yourcompany.com), 1 GB web hosting, e-Catalog, E-Marketplace listing, and SEO service. Professional Plan gives them all for FREE…”

It is a More - Than - Fair Performance - Based Solution

-          Professional Plan does not charge for the SEO service
-          Professional Plan does not charge for your website achieving top rankings
-          We charge only when your website get hits
-          When your website gets and keep more hits, you pay only 1 cent per hit

“… See, this is not like millions of e-Marketplace out there. Please Keep in mind that ExportMate.Com is not e-Marketplace, ExportMate.Com is more than that. ExportMate.Com helps exporters even if they not yet have their own web presence. For anyone who already has can still enjoy the whole pack e.g. upgrade more web space (1 GB) or integrate e-catalog to their existing web site, etc…” Pichayanee mentioned

Check out ExportMate Professional Plan, you will see we are different

Malaysian Economy Strong in Lead-Up to M-PLAS 2007

Saturday, 2 December 2006

Malaysia’s plastics and rubber industry welcomes M-PLAS to Kuala Lumpur 29 March to 1 April 2007 at a timely juncture—amid a buoyant economy and renewed interest in the country as a key export-oriented manufacturing base. The Malaysian economy maintained strong growth of 5.3% in the first quarter of 2006, with even stronger growth likely in the second half of the year. In addition, growth in agriculture and manufacturing should remain firm over the next 6–9 months with a recovery in construction likely to emerge as public spending under Malaysia’s new five-year plan starts to take effect. These factors will surely have a positive effect on the plastics and rubber industries.

Looking at trade, January to April Malaysian exports grew by over 10% year-on-year with electrical and electronic product exports up 7.4%. Furthermore, rubber production was up 25%, and manufacturing output overall grew by 8.4%. This indicates that Malaysia continues to be an important centre for the global manufacturing industry, which sees an increasing need to diversify production bases beyond China.

Malaysia is benefiting from the economic boom in China according to the 2006 Grant Thornton International Business Owners Survey. It found that on average 22% of Malaysian medium and large enterprises (MLEs) are benefiting from the fast growing Chinese economy, second only to Hong Kong with 53%. Malaysia was placed at 25th in the global business environment ranking by the UK-based Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), for the next five years, comparing favorably to China, which ranked 50th.

Malaysia has also improved on its competitiveness ranking from 28th in 2005 to 23rd position out of 61 economies, according to the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2006 published by Switzerland’s International Institute for Management Development (IMD). Malaysia topped the list of 61 economies in terms of competitiveness in labour cost in the manufacturing sector as seen by the yearly decline of unit labour cost. The country ranked eleventh in economic performance, and managed to maintain its third position for exports of goods. Improvements in infrastructure ranking were attributed to investment in telecommunications, communications technology, wider use of computers, development and application of technology, and competitive mobile telephone and Internet costs. “Malaysia is very much in the running for the place of choice for outsourcing services, a clear indicator of its capability to meet the need for excellent infrastructure and required skills to develop its knowledge-based economy," NPC said.

Blessed with abundant latex resources, a core component of Malaysian industry is the rubber processing sector and here, Malaysian companies lead the world and are investing to expand further. Top Glove, for example, is the leading global manufacturer of rubber gloves, and it plans to add two more factories by August 2006, and another two by August 2007 to boost capacity from the current 20 billion gloves/year to 30 billion. It also plans to raise the number of export destinations and customers from 170 countries and 700 firms, respectively, to 180 countries and 850 firms over the same time frame.

M-PLAS 2007 will provide an ideal platform for leading international manufacturers and suppliers keen to expand their business reach to Malaysia.  With the progressive business and industrial landscape, M-PLAS 2007 will provide abundant opportunities for key players to introduce cutting edge technology and solutions to processors from across the country.  Some 200 international exhibiting companies from 20 countries are expected to be present. 8,000 trade visitors and buyers are expected over the 4 days of the trade fair.

M-PLAS is endorsed by the Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation, and supported by the Malaysian Plastics Manufacturers Association, Malaysian Rubber Products Manufacturers' Association and the globally acclaimed K, the world’s number one trade fair for plastics and rubber.
